Livestock Buyers

Dear Potential Livestock Buyer:

We would like to take this opportunity to formally invite you to attend our 2024 Martin County Youth Livestock Buyer’s social and auction. The social will be held on February 17, 2024, at 3:00pm in Building “G”. The steer auction will start at 5:00pm in the arena followed by the swine auction.

Below you will find links to a registration form, exhibitor add-on sheet, and brochure explaining our auction. Please return the registration form either by mail or email, fairoffice@martincountyfair.com Buyer’s packets will only be assigned to buyers who pre-register, even if you are a previous buyer.

Our 4-H and FFA youth are working towards their future through their animal projects. This will be your opportunity to support these young people by purchasing one of these fine animals. There are several ways to purchase, either by you, as a business or as a partnership or group. Remember, your purchase is a tax-deductible donation. Our EIN is 59-1533299. All sales and add-on’s must be paid for the night of the auction. We accept all major Credit Cards, Checks, or Cash. Please note that for any purchases made by credit card will have a 3% fee applied.

Arrangements have been made with Cut Rite Outback to handle the processing and packaging of your pork and or beef. Enclosed is a cut and wrap form for your convenience. Associates from Cut Rite Outback will be there the night of the sale to assist with filling out the cut sheet. The forms must be turned in at the end of the sale as the forms must go on the truck the Sunday morning after sale, otherwise, standard cut will be assigned. You as the buyer will be responsible for all fees incurred for the cut and wrap of the purchased animal. The processing fee will be $885 for steer and $235 for hogs.
