Dear Livestock Buyer:
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you
to attend our 2017 Martin County Youth Livestock buyers social and
auction. Put on your “Boot and Pearls”
and join us for hors d’oeuvres, drinks, live entertainment and good company.
The Social will be held in Building “G” beginning at
3:30 till 5:00 pm. The Steer auction will start at 5:00 pm followed immediately
by the Swine auction, Saturday, February 18, 2017.
You and your guest will have reserved parking and free
entry onto the fairgrounds. The parking
and entrance to the fair will be at the North end of the grounds. Enclosed you will find a registration form. Please fill out this registration form and
mail or fax to the Fair office at 772/220-2424.
When the registration form is returned, you will be assigned a bidding
number. A packet will be held at the
entrance with your bid number, drink tickets and sale order. Please remember you must have a bidding
number in order to purchase.
Our 4-H and FFA youth are working towards their future
through their animal projects. This will
be your opportunity to support these young people by purchasing one of these
fine animals. There are several ways to
purchase, either by yourself, as a business or as a partnership or group. Remember, your purchase is a tax deductible
donation. We do ask that you pay for
your purchase on sale night. We accept
all major Credit Cards, Checks, Money Orders or Cash.
Arrangements have been made with Nettles Sausage Inc.
to handle the processing and packaging of your pork and Nettles Beef Processing, Inc. for beef. There will be NO CHARGE for cutting and
wrapping of the beef or swine as this will be paid by the exhibitor.
Also enclosed is a cut and wrap form. If you plan to make a purchase, please
complete the form and bring it with you to the sale. The forms must be turned in at the end of the
sale as the forms must go on the truck on Sunday morning, otherwise, standard
cut will be assigned.
Please RSVP to the Martin County Fair office as soon
as possible, but no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017 with your
reservations so that we will have time to prepare the packages and have a
better idea of the number of people we are serving. If you have any questions or concerns please
